Welcome...

Based at Caister-On-Sea, on the beautiful Norfolk coast, I have been photographing people, places and events since 1991.

After successful completion of my City & Guilds studies, I freelanced part-time until 2002. Alongside weddings and portraits, I now supply a range of corporate and commercial services.

This diversity of work has enabled me to blend my skills to the benefit of all clients and in ways few other photographers in Norfolk are able to. 

Corporate and commercial fields have included engineering, technology, new media, legal and local government either directly or through Great Yarmouth, Norwich and London agencies.

Family & Personal Portraits
Whether in the studio, your home, or outdoor location I can provide informal portrait shoots for individuals and families.  Creating quality images in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

Models & Artistes
Publicity portraits for models, musicians, dancers and actors have never been so relevant with limitless options for image sharing and manipulation.

Whether supplied in black & white or colour, digital images are now inclusive and I can offer generous discounts on multiple print orders.    I will advise clients on how to get the best out of their digital images, providing free email support and will also recommend lab and card printing services if required.

New for 2012  - Time for Prints modelling work.  Models must be 18+ and willing to sign release. For further information email me with your picture and details.

Treating each wedding as a documentary and portrait project, my goal is to raise the visual value at every opportunity. Lighting, composition and timing can each heighten or lessen a scenes impact. It can be like rescuing a moment from ambiguity

PR and brochure photography.

I also undertake occasional commissions for corporate magazines and London PR agencies, most commonly portraits and industrial reportage.

Digital Art
The digital darkroom allows me enormous creative control and expression in my work and also helps me monitor the quality of my output.

Photo design work may include complex re-touching, art montages and composites. Source pictures needn't be taken by me but can be your own images - including those old black & white prints long in need of restoration.
 
I will work with all media whether prints, negatives, slides or digital files.  Artwork may be supplied on disc and printed as required.  

 


 

Copy Work & Digital Conversions
A copy service is available for those needing digital copies of negatives, slides or prints or analogue to digital (tape to disc) conversions.

Restoration work on still images may be carried out if necessary, the resulting retouched images supplied on CD/DVD or via a download web page.  Prints are available at any size from 6x4" to 48x72" with various finishes and mounting options.

Copyright on all film or video material must be owned by customer or otherwise permission must be sought from originator. Very old photographs may be free from copyright but not always, so please do check.

I also photograph valuables such as jewellery, old coins, medals and larger antique items - anything needing capturing in fine detail and with careful attention to lighting.
